Steve Job dropped the word computer! The news kind of faded in the buzz around the iPhone and Apple TV. I however couldn’t stop thinking about it for the past 48 hours. It’s huge. I think that it is both the acknowledgement of the recent successes and the commitment to the strategy. Apple is about the digital devices which surround us to work, play, watch, listen. Such a move creates additional brand equity. They anticipate the success of the iPhone : look at blumenvasen’s blog to measure how an Apple geek can be moved by an Apple product.
