Eyeka launches « 48 Hours film project » in France

Friday April 27 – 7pm. Meeting point Eyeka’s terrasse. 11 young directors will receive their brief and they will return on Sunday April 29 with their film, cut and ready to show. It’s a little special since the teams have already proven their talent in previous editions.

The winners will be rewarded at The Cannes Festival.

The « 48 hours films project » invites young film makers around the world to realize a full and finalized short film.

Founded in 2001 in Washington, DC, the 48 Hour Film Project, Inc.is dedicated to the advancement of filmmaking and the encouragement of would-be filmmakers to make movies. Teams have just two days to make a four-to-seven minute film. All creative work ­ writing, shooting, editing, sound design, music composition and graphics ­ must occur within the competition period. The tight deadline puts the focus squarely on filmmaking ­ driving the creative process and teamwork skills

Canal+ will follow two of the teams during this challenge and air the making-off of this French Challenge on Saturday May 12 during the show « L’Hebdo Cinema » from Daphné Roulier at 1.35pm.
