Changes i anticipated end of 2004, early 2005 supported my vision for Eyeka. I shared that vision with my future partner, Gilles Babinet, a serial entrepreneur, and we co-founded the company in January 2006.
Eyeka is an online publisher and syndicator of video and photos supported by a new-generation platform on the Web and on mobile phones. Eyeka showcases audiovisual and photographic creative works uploaded by amateurs and self-produced professionals. It promotes and syndicates them to traditional and new media and distribute royalties. Eyeka offers its technology under white-label contracts as well as its contents to media, mobile phone operators and other brands for their Web-TVs or mobile TVs.
Created in February 2006, Eyeka has received a first round of venture capital of €4 million coming from Ventech and DN Capital. I ran Eyeka in 2006/2007, increasing its value significantly for additional funding received from SFR Developpement (Vodafone) .
