Bergeret, Realeyes3D, comments on Qipit and barcode based search

Benoit Bergeret goes he extra mile! He is CEO of Realeyes3D and president of Qipit and lives in San Francisco and Paris. While Realeyes3D focuses on embedded solutions and mobile imaging solutions to add value through the camera to the phone, Qipit develops new usages for the mobile.

Mobile document scanning is one of them
Just think about your mobile as a desktop scanner to share professional documents or personal messages. That’s Qipit . Qipit, a 1 year old subsidiary of Realeyes3D, is a mobile document copy service launched in the US. It seems easy to use.

They announced a partnership with EMail our Military. Families will use Qipit for free to send drawings of the kids to the military staff based in Irak.

Benoit also explains the new decoding system launched by Realeyes3D: 1D barcode based search. It decodes a blurred barcode and retrieve the relevant or promotional information for the consumer. Its targets are the carriers and marketing companies.
