Froissant and Menneveux launch Moovement: it’s “hiring 2.0 style”

Richard Menneveux, an internet wizard, and Jacques Froissant, a renowned expert in the hightech/start-up recrutments are the founders of Moovement , selected as BestInnov at Capital IT 2007. To make a long story short, Moovement is a google for job search. France is planning 1.22 million hires in 2007. Moovement is signing partnerships with the largest job providers in France and allowing candidates to search for any job, regardless of the publishers. Candidates type in the position they want to fill and the list of open positions comes up. Their benefit is that they can access recrutment ads through one single portal and they can spend more time on responding to the ads rather than “searching” for the right opportunity. The jobs posted last and the more relevant appear first. The service is free. The publishers’ brands appear clearly and candidates can connect to these sites through a single clic. The business model is based on traffic and advertising. The founders have financed the technology and the launch of the company. They will secure a first round of external financing by the end of the year. The idea is rather smart. Execution will make, as always, the difference. I believe that a couple of identical services exist or are about to be launched in France. Do you know of similar services in your country?
