Google Analytics launches its new version.

If you read this post, you’re likely to be a blogger. And if you are, you’re likely to measure traffic and use Google Analytics. I do and I like it. Can’t compare though, i have never used anything else !
On May 8th at Emetrics Summit in San Francisco, Google announced a new version which will come live soon and run for a full month simultaneously to the old version. I’ve watched the demo a couple of times. It seems that everything is done to help your web site target customers through purchases of advertising services. As well, it seems more user-friendly. Jeff Veen, UI Design Manager says they have conducted extensive research qualitative research.

They say :

The new version presents data more clearly and in context, so you can look at a single report to gain insights rather than having to pull up several reports to understand what action to take. …Here are some of the improvements:

* Email and export reports: Schedule or send ad-hoc personalized report emails and export reports in PDF format.
* Custom Dashboard: No more digging through reports. Put all the information you need on a custom dashboard that you can email to others.
* Trend and Over-time Graph: Compare time periods and select date ranges without losing sight of long term trends.
